I'm playing hooky and updating this blog in Central Park using my Treo600 as a wireless modem. It's an absolutely beautiful day, warm but breezy, the kind that straddles the line between spring and summer perfectly. I have to say, this feels like the future.

Strange experience listening and watching Candidate Kerry's appearance on Meet the Press this morning. I started out listening to him on my walkman (which gets tv audio) and he sounded terrible. Pompous and hoarse, a wannabe Jack Kennedy for sure. But then I turned on the tube and he looked quite tan and healthy. And the funny thing is that he actually started sounding better too. Sort of an ironic twist on the famous Kennedy-Nixon debate, where people listening on the radio thought Nixon won, while those watching on tv gave Kennedy the nod.
